The Town of Union is pleased to announce the launch of Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation, a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Program designed to provide a fixed price and budget certainty for participating residential and commercial consumers by fixing the supply cost of the natural gas, such that the rate will not change during the term.
Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation is a municipally-approved community choice aggregation program operated by the Town of Union. With this program, your utility continues to deliver your energy and manage your billing. The only change is the source and cost of your energy supply, chosen by the Town of Union using a competitive bidding process.
What is Community Choice Aggregation?
Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation is a community choice aggregation (CCA) program operated by the Town of Union. The Program pools and leverages the buying power of our residents and businesses to solicit natural gas supply at bulk pricing.
By default, your utility provides a standard energy supply. With Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation, the energy supply will instead, be chosen by Town of Union. Your utility will continue to deliver the energy that we choose as a town and will continue to respond to all service issues and manage all billing.

Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation seeks to procure energy supply contracts when the market is favorable. Pooling and leveraging the bulk buying power of thousands of households and businesses, Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation will provide a fixed price and budget certainty for customers compared to basic utility rates.
Price Stability
Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation secures a fixed price for the transport of natural gas for a 24-month term. In contrast, if you receive supply from the utility, your rate changes every month.
No Obligation
Participants in Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation may leave the Program at any time without penalty.
