Opt Out of the Program

If you do not wish to participate in the Town of Union Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Program, please complete the secure online form below. Be sure to use the name and address associated with your account(s). Alternatively, you may contact the program supplier, Direct Energy Services, LLC, directly at (866) 968-8065, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, excluding holidays. Please have your account information available when contacting the supplier.

Please note that switching suppliers in New York requires at least 15 calendar days to process by all New York utilities.

There are no penalties or fees associated with opting out. Once you have opted out, your account will revert to utility default supply on your next available meter read date.

If you are a residential or commercial account holder, you may re-enroll in the Program at a later date with no associated re-enrollment fees. The aggregation program rate will be reflected on the account holder’s utility bill on the next available billing cycle.
